Senior Internal Auditor

The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) has been mandated by a FTSE listed manufacturing and retail business to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor within its Group function.

Reporting to the Director, you will have autonomy and full ownership in managing a series of risk-based financial, operational, and strategic audits; input into the formulation of the annual Group audit plan; and assist with the continued development of the Group’s risk management processes.

Additionally, with the organisation consistently growing and acquiring new businesses both in the UK and Europe, you will also play a prominent role in the integration process for acquisitions, controls implementation, and post-acquisition review.

Requirements

• Full accounting or audit qualification (ACA / ACCA / CMIIA).
• Experience in risk-based auditing.
• Knowledge and experience working within the commercial sector would be highly beneficial (or with commercial clients should you currently be working for a Big 4 or Top 10 practice firm).
• Data Analytics experience is advantageous, but you will receive training.

The position will involve circa 25% travel including both UK and International sites.
