Internal Auditor

My client are a UK based financial services company who, due to an internal promotion, are seeking to recruit an internal auditor to join their busy and expanding team.

You will be fully supported by the Lead Auditor and if needed, will also be able to study a professional qualification.

Responsibilities will include:

• Aiding in the delivery of the annual internal audit plan
• Building stakeholder relationships
• Testing and fieldwork

The successful candidate will help contribute to embedding internal audit principles further within the business and aiding the Lead Auditor in meeting the objectives for the team. This is a good mixture of financial and operational audit so there is a great opportunity to learn a lot, quickly.

This is an entry level role and we seek an enthusiastic, ambitious professional who is ideally already working as an internal auditor and is keen to move into financial services or an insurance practitioner who is keen to move into internal audit.

There is very little travel with this role and the client encourages a strong work/life balance.
