Junior Internal Audit

Our client a leading financial institution is looking for a junior Internal Audit to report to the Head of Internal Audit. The individual would carry out a program of internal reviews including financial, operational, compliance and investigative audits to successfully execute strategic business plans and internal auditing objectives.

Duties includ

• Contribute and support the delivery of audits, some major and/or highly complex, which provide internal customers and stakeholders with critical assessments of the governance, risk and internal control frameworks. Escalating specialist professional advice on audit findings and recommendations, thus ensuring that they are both fully understood and properly implemented by management. Managing in the completion of Continuous Monitoring activities to enhance the capability to provide effective and efficient assurance across the enterprise. Ensuring that audit assignments are completed in a timely and efficient manner with due respect to the standards industry best practices and the relevant risk and regulatory environment.

The successful candidate will ideally have an Internal/External Audit, Internal Control or Risk Management background and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of current financial services regulations. You should also have the ability to work under pressure, to manage higher responsibilities and to respect deadlines.
