Highly successful chemical manufacturing businesses is recruiting a lead auditor to join their team with headquarters in Basel.
Experience within the manufacturing area has become very important for the audit group. There is a blend of operational and financial audits, where your commercial understanding and business process expertise will be welcome.
You will be responsible for the full circle of the audit process and you will report to the Head of internal audit. Alongside that, you will be responsible for coordinating and guiding the audit team on the job. For this reason, we are looking for people with leadership skills.
Adaptability, potential and a strong understanding of financial and business process audits are the key requirements for this position. A background in the audit department of a major multinational within the consumer goods, manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry will be a good fit. Operational and business process understanding - to combine with your SAP expertise - will be a winning combination.
This is a high travel position. Which means you will be travelling in Europe, North America and South Asia 6 or 7 times a year for a period of 3 weeks.
This is a progressive opportunity that would offer a highly international environment for an internal audit professional to develop in.
Requirements:
- Native English
- SAP experience (knowledge of MB51 and MB52)
- CIA qualification
- Willing to travel for 60% of your time
- Leadership skills
