Your new firm
An award winning independent firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers based in Manchester City Centre are looking to appoint a soon to be or recently qualified Chartered or Certified Accountant to join their busy Manchester office as an Audit & Accounts Senior. This opportunity has arisen due to continued business wins which has created a need to a technically solid audit senior.

Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior you will be responsible for leading on a range of audit and accounting assignments. Your role will be weighted approximately 60:40 audit to accounts although all of the audits will require accounts preparation experience. Whilst there is a separate tax team ideally you will have good knowledge of corporation tax. Your role will be predominantly client facing so you must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to field and resolve client queries. This is a fast growing department and therefore there are opportunities to progress up to management in the medium term.

What you'll need to succeed
The accountancy firm are looking to appoint either a finalist ACA / ACCA studier or a recently qualified certified or chartered accountant. You must have trained within practice and ideally have the ability to lead on both audit and accounting assignments. The firm are looking for an ambitious accountant who has strong interpersonal skills who can develop good client relationships.
