Internal Auditor

The Audit and Risk Recruitment (ARRC) is recruiting an Internal Auditor on behalf of a complex and evolving Utilities organisation.

As an internal auditor, you will be very well regarded throughout this organisation; there is a strong appreciation of risk driven from the very top, stakeholders are receptive whereby your recommendations are listened to and acted upon, and you’ll be working alongside friendly and supportive colleagues in what is a collaborative work environment.

The role itself would see you have full ownership of audits across all facets of the business and prepare the draft and final audit reports for circulation.  You will also gain exposure to 2^nd line risk, IT auditing and other ad hoc, investigative projects. 

You’ll enjoy a strong work-life balance, overnight stays will not be required (when there is occasional travel, it will be to other sites across the North), and there isn’t a culture of bringing work home over the weekends.

For consideration, experience in risk-based internal auditing is required, a full audit or accounting qualification, and a positive and proactive approach to your work.  Although beneficial, knowledge and / or experience in the Utilities sector or a regulated environment is not required.
