Head of Internal Audit

Your new company

Hays are partnering with a leading global employer to recruit a Head of Internal audit to join their London offices on a permanent basis. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic company and lead your own team within a global setting.


Your new role

This role will entail a multitude of responsibilities which will include, but not be limited to, analysing exposures to financial and business risk and assessing the effectiveness of financial control systems that have been established within the company. You will look at systems and identify risks and weaknesses for the business and report findings to the relevant body. Furthermore, you will look at possible occurrences of fraud and review irregularities, analysing and reporting on how they may have arose. You will also provide reviews of financial transactions and carry out internal audits of various offices.


What you'll need to succeed

To succeed, you will need to have previous experience working in an internal audit role and have the ability to lead and develop staff. You should also feel confident dealing with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation and have excellent communication skills. It would also be beneficial to have strong IT skills and good attention to detail.
