Your new company

A major media group with its EMEA headquarters in Central London has a vacancy for a Senior Internal Audit Manager. The company has a strong record of growth via acquisitions, and its internal audit function plays a key role in ensuring financial and operational risk is at a healthy level. This role will offer you significant learning experience of the financial and operational aspects of a diverse multinational business and international travel whilst performing risk based financial audits across the EMEA region. The role requires:

Your new role

This company has a vacancy for a Senior Internal Audit Manager in its well established Internal Audit function, based in Central London. The environment is dynamic, multi-cultural and welcoming, and relationship building, and management skills are critical for anyone joining the business.

The role of Senior Internal Audit Manager involves leading and developing best practice for Internal Audit and risk management across specific areas of the business. Specifically, you will monitor, evaluate and challenge the company's success in managing its risks and controls.

You will be managing a team of 4 in this role. Travel will be expected to be around the 70% mark, generally for two weeks a time, with the option to travel at home at weekend if desired.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have considerable experience delivering Internal Audit and risk management in a corporate environment, ideally in a FTSE listed company, though this isn't a prerequisite. You'll be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of Internal Audit principles and their practical application, together with previous experience in communicating, motivating and challenging senior management.

Further, you will need to have managed staff in a previous role - ideally Internal Auditors, but graduate management would also be acceptable for the position.

What you'll get in return

You will be rewarded with a generous starting salary, alongside Group pension plan, private healthcare, car allowance and generous annual leave.
