Head of Internal Audit

A global data analytics firm are looking to bring in a Head of Audit in what has been described as a greenfield role. They want someone who has a passion and drive to build up an audit function and implement internal control processes.

Based in London, the successful candidate will be responsible for the building of the audit team. The business is truly global, covering an array of different sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Help build the internal audit function ensuring best practice at a global level.
• To develop and oversee the roll-out of a the Internal Audit programme.
• Working alongside internal departments to further develop and improve the worldwide assurance process.
• Liaise and report into the CFO and Audit Committee

Capabilities

• Will need to be ACA/ACCA/CA qualified or similar
• A strong background with over 10 years experience in internal audit, and preferably started out in the Big 4.
• The ability to work autonomously and run projects to a high standard, whilst managing your time successfully.
• Previous leadership experience within an internal audit function.
• SOx familiarity
• Language skills are beneficial.
