Your new role
To be responsible for managing the day to day finance function for a new innovative employment programme to be implemented in two countries. This role reports to the International Business Partner and a strong working relationship with international finance team members. You will ensure rigorous budget design, financial monitoring, control and reporting in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. You will work in partnership with consortium team members of varied financial experience and across multiple geographies to ensure budget and donor requirements are understood and adhered to.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a part-qualified accountant with a degree-level qualification. You will need to have sound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and specific knowledge of and prior experience with large institutional donors. Likewise. strong technical accounting skills and expertise and strong financial analysis and reporting skills is pivotal for this role. Working knowledge of financial controls, audit techniques and risk management is also important for this position.
