Your new firm
An award winning firm of Chartered Accountants based across Lancashire & Greater Manchester are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant to join their cloud accounting team as an assistant manager in their Blackburn office. This opportunity has arisen due to an increase in workload following the introduction of making tax digital.

Your new role
In this role you will manage a portfolio of SME clients, with turnovers ranging up to £5 million turnover, overseeing the delivery of compliance and outsourcing services using Cloud Accounting Software. Day to day you will be responsible for the preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns, management accounts, VAT returns, cash flow forecasts and projections. You will be responsible for managing a team and meeting with your portfolio, providing them with accounting and software training and providing business advice with the BI produced by the team.

What you'll need to succeed
The partners are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who can demonstrate a passion for utilising cloud accounting software. You will have experience managing the compliance needs for SMEs and be able to demonstrate the ability to act as a key point of contact for your clients. As your will be managing your own portfolio good organisational and interpersonal skills are essential.
