Operations and Office Manager job paying £35000 per annum on a Permanent basis

Your new company is a global peer-based organisation that seeks to promote the health and defend the rights of people who use drugs
Your new role
The Operations and Office Manager will be responsible for facilitating the smooth functioning of the administrative and financial operations. You will be Providing the Executive Director with administrative support (including logistics and information management) and responsible for ensuring contracts (donor and sub-grantees) are compliant with internal policies. With the Deputy Director, you would be managing all aspects of the day to day operations of the Secretariat Office (supplies, stationary, and so forth). Financial management will involve Working with the Deputy Director and Finance Officer to prepare the Annual Report and Accounts for the Executive Director and Board's approval and present these at the Annual General Meeting.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be an experienced, established office manager who has a good financial understanding as you will be assisting with audits and compiling financial reports. You must have a good understanding of contracting and governance as you will be assisting the back office with human resources including maintaining staff contracts and monitoring staff annual leave. You must a confident communicator as you will be working closely with the executive and deputy directors. You need to be able to work in a high-pressured environment and be able to face challenges, ensuring tasks get done to a high standard within a timely manner. You must be organised and highly efficient as you will be responsible for developing on the day to day running and operations of the office.
