For a project at our clients' site based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Senior Requirements Engineer – Tax Reporting / FATCA (6603)

In this function, you will have the chance to play a key role in the development of a new Tax at Source Service application.

Your Qualifications:

• 4 years’ experience in requirements engineering on IT side within the financial industry
• Familiar with tax reporting, FATCA, and US Withholding Tax
• Experience in eliciting requirements from business SME's and writing business rules as well as interface specifications for the developers
• IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering or a similar certificate
• Solid understanding and practical experience of use case modeling in IT projects and software development processes in an agile environment like SCRUM methodology
• Well versed in test design and manual test execution
• Fluent in English, German is an advantage

Your Responsibilities:

• Work with bank-wide feeder applications, IT and Business architects and Regulatory Strategy and Business Change projects
• A motivated, small team, consisting of internals as well as on-/and offshore outsourced resources
• Support the business in its duties through IT support and document it to provide a common understanding between the client who use the application and the IT people who built, test and maintain it now and in the future
• Responsible to understand business drivers and what needs to be delivered from a business point of view (input from Product Owner (PO), Business Analysts (BA) and Subject Matter Experts (SME))
• Develop, handle, estimate dimensions and consolidate information on the requirements of the project's customers, products and product components according to the requirements engineering process
• Identifying synergies, redundancies and inconsistencies between the requirements and the project plans, work products, project goals and the overall context in application and technical architecture
• Support the testing phase by giving input, review test strategy and test cases and execute test cases
• Model and document requirements understandable for business representatives, identify impact changes on existing requirements and provide input to the Project Management, stream lead and Product Owner for prioritizing
