For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Test Manager - Asset Mgmt / Fund Administration (6605)

In this challenging project, you will attend the outsourcing of the fund context of the bank. You will help the different units to identify their testing needs and prepare the cross-functional test and would have to understand both business and IT. This role requires around 15% of traveling actives (Luxembourg, London).

Your Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in managing large testing activities across different business and IT units within the financial environment
  • Solid understanding of banking topics, preferably asset/wealth management
  • Very good business administration (fund administration) skills and ability to report testing results to program management and other stakeholders
  • Familiar in creating, executing and documenting tests as well as planning, organizing and control all test activities
  • Solid technical understanding, able to gather requirements from IT divisions
  • Fluent in English, German would be a plus

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for cross-functional test preparation and execution as well as end-to-end production readiness verification
  • Elaborates test strategy, overall test approach and test plans with the different and external providers
  • Help the different units to identify testing needs (within functions, cross-functional)
  • Support the elaboration of test scenarios and test case preparation and reviews IT and business test cases (consistency and quality assurance)
  • Reviews resource allocation of the different units involved and assures timely availability of test environments
  • Coordinates all testing activities (IT integration testing, user acceptance testing) with the different functions and external providers
  • Tracks execution of testing against plan and supports triage of defects and issues
  • Managing issues related to data quality and availability (resources, environments) and escalates to program management if needed
  • Reports progress to program management and other stakeholders on a regular basis
