Financial Assurance Analyst

6 Month contract, Financial Assurance Analyst, Up to £390 per day, Banking


An established Bank in the City are currently looking for a Financial Control Analyst to join their team for a 6-month contract. The day rate is up to £390 (LTD or PAYE).

Responsibilities would include managing the General Ledger Attestation Process across the Capital Markets, Investor Services and Wealth Management platforms, along with oversight of further associated controls. You would have an oversight of the framework designed to support the overall accuracy of the financial statements.

There is currently a team of 2, who are both very knowledgeable and approachable. The role offers a good work-life balance.

To be considered for this role, you must Educated to degree level, be ACA/CIMA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified. You should also have the ability to liaise with/influence multiple internal stakeholders and senior management.

You should have previous experience of controls and governance / second level review / audit or previous experience within a Financial Control role and of the general ledger attestation process. You will also need to be on a short notice period (1 month or less).
