Your new firm
A highly reputable and successful firm of Chartered Accountants based across the North West are looking to appoint an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join their Bolton office. This job opportunity has arisen due to a successful 2019 which has seen an increase in new client wins and therefore created the need for a manager to support the partner with the management of this portfolio.

Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Manager you take ownership for a portfolio of clients including international businesses, UK subsidiaries, limited companies and groups across a range of industries including retail, manufacturing, leisure and sports. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of audit and accounting compliance and advisory assignments to this portfolio (FRS102 & IFRS) and holding and maintaining strong client relationships.

Day to day you will be responsible for on-boarding new clients, managing the planning and workflow, reviewing audit and accounts files, managing a team of qualified and part qualified staff including recruitment and training, and attending client meetings, providing a value added service.

What you'll need to succeed
The partners are seeking a practice trained Chartered Accountant (ACA / ACCA) who has gained post qualified experience operating in a managerial capacity. Your client base will be varied and challenging and therefore you must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing commercial businesses and any exposure to international clients would be advantageous.

The firm are seeking a manager who can demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills and has aspirations to progress beyond manager within an Independent Firm of Chartered Accountants.
