Real Estate Accountant, Luxembourg

Opportunity to move into this small but dynamic real estate investment company based in Luxembourg with European wide developments at a critical stage in their growth. The assets which are an international portfolio of developments are traded and in SPVs , including funds. They also have the backing of a major US investor and are involved in a new joint venture partnership based in Europe. You will be involved in all areas of finance and will need to be adaptable to get involved in special projects.

The Role

• Opportunity to move from a Big Four / Medium tier accounting firm or enhance your existing finance experience
• Financial management and accounting under IFRS & LUX GAAP
• Involved in raising finance, accounting of trading international assets
• Liaising with auditors, external advisers , internal fund accountants / accounts & clients.
• Managing financial side of the businesses assets including SPVs
• Ad Hoc special projects
• Travel within Europe & potentially US.
• Enjoy living in Luxembourg, the heart of Europe close to the Alps for Skiing and hiking, French vineyards and Belgian Breweries.

Requirements

• European/ British passport holder due to travel involved in role
• Professionally qualified accountant, CA/ACA/ACCA or the equivalent
• Experience of the Real Estate sector is helpful, either from auditing or similar role
• 4-6 years experience
• Fluent business English, French is helpful.

Salary is from EUR60 - 70,000 but negotiable, plus benefits.
