Internal Audit Manager & Senior Internal Auditor - English speaker - NYSE business - exclusive roles

We have been selected to build the Internal Audit team of a large American highly specialised manufacturing and processing business across various locations in Germany. As part of this work, we are looking for one Internal Audit Manager and one Senior Internal Auditor, who can be based in any of their offices across the country (the largest are near Stuttgart and Cologne, but there are others). Given that the company is American, the working language will be English, so German is not necessarily a requirement, but rather an advantage.  

Reporting to the Senior Internal Audit Director in the USA, who in turn reports into the Audit Committee (AC) and interacts daily with the Group CFO, the primary part of these roles is to plan, deliver and report on financial & SOX and operational audits allocated from the Group audit plan. .

In these hands-on roles, you’ll be responsible for helping the team establish and develop department procedures and ways of working as we build the team. You will also be responsible for undertaking financial and operational reviews to identify risks and ensure that they are effectively managed.

This would be an ideal role for those who are seeking an international adventure to Germany and want to develop their German language skills in a professional environment, or someone who is already in Germany and is looking for an IA role in a large commercial business.

We are looking for people who aspire ultimately to have a more senior role in financial, operational or general management as the roles provide extensive insight to the whole organisation and exposure to senior management. Travel is expected to be circa 30% all around Europe, and possibly to the USA.

We are looking for a well-educated, Big 4/Top 10 trained audit, advisory or finance professional, who possesses excellent English language and communication skills, especially in relationship and stakeholder management.
