A reputable firm of Chartered Accountants based in South Lancashire are looking to recruit an ACA / ACCA Chartered Accountant to join their team as an Accounts & Audit Manager.. This is a fantastic job opportunity for a manager to join a well established team in a role which can offer career progression.

Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Manager you will report directly into the partners taking responsibility for a large audit & accounts portfolio. As the manager you will oversee and develop a team of trainees & qualified accountants taking responsibility for the planning of workflow, reviewing of files, day to day management of the team and leading client meetings. Overtime there is scope to progress towards partnership and there are plans for the successful candidate to attain their RI status within the next few years.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA ./ ACCA qualified accountant who can demonstrate post qualified experience operating at audit manager level. You must be competent in managing and reviewing statutory audit files and as the portfolio owner, you must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing and developing lasting client relations. Applications from both Big 4 / Top 10 and independent firms will be considered. In this role there is the opportunity for hybrid working.

What you'll get in return
As an Audit Manager you'll receive a competitive salary of around £45000 - £60000 dependent on PQE and managerial experience.
