For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
(JR – Mid Senior) Software Developer – C++/ Java (7113)
This role gives you the opportunity to join a team of highly experienced developers in order to work on a bank critical trading application. You will handle requests such as bug fixing or adding new features and over time getting more exposure to the business.
Your Qualifications:
- Solid understanding in coding with C++ and Java, able to switch between those technologies
- Familiar working on applications within a network architecture, preferably experience in TCP/IP
- Experienced in working in agile environments and good skills in building components with high testability
- Willingness to jump into legacy codes
- Happy to join a team of friendly, experienced and open-minded developers
- Fluent in English, German is an advantage
Your Responsibilities:
- Enhance the existing C++ / Java code base to ensure stability and deliver new functionalities as required by business
- Enhance the banks internal trading platform to support stress test and testability
- Be part of 3rd Level support to diagnose and solve production issues
