Senior Internal Auditor - Dublin- manufacturing - 50% travel/ home at weekends.
About the Opportunity:
A highly progressive company are expanding their internal audit team and consequently searching for talented auditors to be based in their Dublin team. This company has gone through a period of positive change and is experiencing strong growth, making them an employer of choice in the sector.
A classic internal audit role in many ways, this will involve travelling to the business operations, suggesting improvements, building relationships and enhancing efficiencies. There will be travel globally and a period from 2 to 3 years in the audit team before rotating into the business. However, many aspects make this position unique. There are important projects - system implementations, forensic investigations and data analytic projects which provide great exposure for the audit team.
Individuals will come from an audit or finance background, beginning within the Big 4 before moving into an internal audit capacity in an international business. Qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or ACA (also CIA) are well regarded within the company, as are language skills such as German, Spanish, Italian or French. Experience leading teams will be a bonus as this role requires leadership qualities, which will be developed into a managerial role within audit if potential is spotted.
