Job Purpose Statement:

As Financial Business Partner, you will work closely with the business unit creating a real and proactive partnership with both operations and management. The role is to provide 'real time' support and analysis, to be a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making. Critical to the role success is an ability to communicate the commercial message, to understand the audience and deliver the information in a clear and user-friendly manner. The Financial Business Partner is the translator between finance and operations and the successful incumbent will hold a mix of strong analytical, commercial and communication skills which are at the heart of successful and supportive finance business partnering.
The Financial Business Partner will provide targeted strategic insights across every department of the business, basing insights on analysis of operational performance, industry dynamics, macro-economic trends and the competitor landscape. Guiding senior management in making sound business decisions in the long and short term through interpreting the raw data and communicating this clearly. The task is to take the fragments of data, order them, assess their value and then present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a meaningful way - putting the role at the heart of the Business.


Reports to: FP&A Manager
Salary banding: £45,000 - £50,000 pa +bens
