CISM or CISSP Certified Cyber Security Analyst - Banking

This is a great opportunity to work within the cyber security team of a very large and prestigious global financial services institution if you come from a banking/financial services background! This particular organisation are now looking for somebody to join their security team to perform a number threat/risk assessment and resolution related activities.

The role will involve the following:

• Application Security Risk Assessments
• Project consulting and advisory
• Security approvals (Firewalls/changes etc.)
• Infrastructure security reviews
• Defining security requirements
• Defining and developing Security standards
• Phishing exercises and review of organisation's phishing mailbox
• Training and Awareness activities for users

To be considered for this role you will require the following:

• Good general knowledge of Cyber and Information Security principles and best practices.
• You must have experience of performing the activities outlined above in a banking/financial services environment
• A CISSP/CISM qualification is strongly preferred by the client
• Experience of application security risk assessments
• Experience of 3rd party review of security controls.
• Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills,
• Good writing skills to produce clear documentation (policy, reports).
• Some project Management skills useful
• Security Product Assessment and Implementation
• Outsourcing, and Vendor Management
