Senior Internal Auditor - London

American head-quartered company operating within the health care / pharma industry is actively seeking an Senior Internal Auditor to join their team.

The role will report into one of the Audit Managers, and involve a high level of international travel (circa 40%)

Responsibilities:

• Perform process walk-throughs to gain an understanding for the controls and processes
• Draft and review internal audit papers for presentation to the internal audit and risk management team
• On a rotational basis, lead internal audits providing guidance and management to guest, external and other internal auditors
• Liaise with external auditors where appropriate

Ideal Candidates:

• Degree educated, with full or part completion of an accountancy qualification ACA / ACCA / CPA or similar
• Skilled communicator; ability to adapt to different cultures and liaise with staff at all levels 
• Understanding of SOX and GAAP

Additional languages, Big 4 background and previous experience of SAP and Hyperion will be advantageous.
