For a long-term project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a
Financial Reporting Specialist – Regulatory (7143)
The ideal candidate will assist the team with reporting on a weekly and monthly basis, and help the team adjust existing reports and processes.
Your Qualifications:
- Experience working in a similar role within financial services, preferably with banking experience
- An accounting (CA, ACCA) or management reporting qualification (CIMA) is an advantage
- Extensive skills with the MS Office tools, primarily Excel and PowerPoint - knowledge of Essbase would be an advantage
- Strong analytical and numerical skills needed
- Comfortable following up on items with various teams around the globe
- High-quality attitude, customer focus, and willingness to go the extra mile during peak times
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Assisting the team with reporting on a weekly and monthly basis, help the team adjust existing reports and processes to reflect the new environments’ structure
- Assist with the extra tasks required at quarter ends, and in the preparation of the Board of Directors report for the CFO
- Providing transparent and reliable information to the Executive Board, Board of Directors and other stakeholders including the regulators
- Analyzing business results and the drafting of comments and key messages to enable the offering of greater transparency over the financial results, trends, performance indicators, and efficiency measures
- Responsibility for regular financial updates to the Group CFO as well as performing ad hoc financial analysis to support senior managements' business requirements
- Regular contact with divisional and regional controlling teams around the globe as well as with subject matter experts in matters such as Capital Management, Treasury and Financial Accounting
- Enhancement of the products, process improvements as well as coordination with stakeholders
