your new company is a global leader in the engineering and manufacturing sector, working across a wide variety of industries from aviation to renewable energy, machinery to defence. They have been going through a period of change recently - which has seen the audit team gain new responsibilities, both in terms of scope and geography.


Your new role

In your new role as Internal Audit & Risk Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of a wide-ranging set of duties within the EMEA region, assisting the Head of Audit with a range of different audit matters and projects. The company's Internal Audit function supports over 50 different business units in the EMEA region, which operate in very different sectors.

This role is broad in its scope, and you will be helping with the audit planning, conducting fieldwork, and report writing. This position will see you working very closely with the Head of Audit in a lean team, giving you lots of exposure to senior leaders across the business.


What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in an Internal Audit function, with an international remit
• German speaker (must be business level or fluent)
• Ability and willingness to travel 30-40% of the time across EMEA, and occasional visits to Asia
• A relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA, IIA etc.) is preferred, but not essential if you have the experience in Internal Audit
