An exciting opportunity at a leading business based in the Croydon area who are looking to bring in an experienced, fully qualified Finance Business Partner to join their team. This role will play a pivotal role in the business and will be partnering with key stakeholders to help the business make important decisions to drive the business forward. The post holder will proactively work with budget holders to resolve any concerns or difficulties with their financial performance and report on the reasons for substantial variations to plan.



Your new role

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will prepare and lead on monthly and year-end processes in line with set deadlines, ensuring all forecasting, year-end accruals and prepayments are made in line with financial procedures, investigate and report on significant variances and make appropriate adjustments, support the preparation of regular and ad hoc financial statements, variance analysis and to produce a forecast out-turn position on a monthly basis, meet regularly with budget holders to assess financial performance and to provide financial management information, ensure budget holders and senior leaders have an awareness of financial performance requirements, closely monitor budgets so to avoid overspend and work with senior managers and service leads to prepare business cases.



What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualified or equivalent with strong commercial experience and previous finance business partnering experience or someone from practice looking for a commercial role. Excellent communicator and presentation skills, both verbally and in writing.
