We're Hanami International, and we help audit and accounting professionals like yourself find exciting and unique work opportunities abroad. Our client in Paris is the capital markets advisory team of a Big 4 accounting firm. This team help listed American companies launch on European stock exchanges (IPOs) or merge/acquire European companies, by conducting pre-transaction audits.
A background in external audit is perfect, and will give you all the skills you need to transfer into this role!
The team is made up of both French nationals and American/Canadian expats (we've recruited 7 expats from North America for this team over the last 4 years). The working language of the team is English, but French language skills will be a plus to help you get to know the wider business. If you don't speak French, that's okay! Lessons are part of the package on offer, you just need the willingness to learn.
We're looking for a Manager, or potentially an experienced Senior Associate, to relocate from the USA and join this team full time in Paris. Full visa support and relocation is included! Ideally, you'll be CPA qualified, with experience in external audit at a big 4 or large mid-tier accounting firm, working with commercial, listed companies.
Full support to transition into this new role is provided, and the team are very sociable, forming part of an extended network of Americans living in Paris, meaning you'll have loads of other expatriate to meet and get to know.
