Senior IT Audit Manager

Your new company

My client is a regulatory body based in Central London. They are looking to recruit a Senior Audit Manager, specialising in IT audits, on a permanent basis.

Your new role

Reporting into the Inspections Leader you will lead the IT aspects of audit file reviews and inspections of firm-wide procedures at big four, mid-tier, and/or public sector firms.

You will be responsible for:

• Visiting audit firms and reviewing their IT audit processes and IT audit methodologies.
• Making an assessment of the IT audit work carried out on major audits, including the judgements made by audit partners on key audit and accounting issues.
• Meetings with the senior audit partners and other team members on the relevant audits.
• Reporting of findings to the firms.

What you'll need to succeed

It is essential to be a fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/ICAEW/ICAS) or equivalent, accountant with significant IT audit experience gained within a major audit firm. IFRS knowledge is essential.

What you'll get in return

In return you will receive a salary of £92,000 per annum, plus an excellent benefits package which includes flexible working opportunities.
