Based in the historic yet rather 'young and vibrant' Halifax, Nova Scotia this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be sponsored in beautiful Canada.
Anyone who knows Canada doesn't need me to tell them what a superb place it is. Anyone who doesn't, probably isn't going to be right for this role!
Qualified and trained in one of the world's 'Top 20' Audit firms, you will be newly qualified/possess 1+ year PQE for the Senior role and between 2-5 years PQE for the Manager roles.
It's a global 'Top 10' brand you will work for but interestingly, this office in Halifax is a wholly owned subsidiary of the same firm in another country. Meaning the best of both worlds - a small, family-feel environment, where everyone is known and truly valued but the comfort of the global brand on the CV and the benefits that come with having that.
Halifax itself is pretty special. It used to be Canada's 'Banking Centre' and is still home to many large financial services institutions. It has 6 universities within an hour's radius making the nightlife and general feel of the place young and vibrant. It's passionate about it's Art and Music scene and of course, the outstanding natural beauty on your doorstep.
Most employees of this firm walk to work. Meaning much cheaper rental prices compared to Toronto or Vancouver yet similar salary.
Still a major port, Halifax is probably the closest major North American to Europe (great for keeping in touch with family) and not a million miles away from Boston and New York.
Ideally, candidates with EU, USA, Australia or New Zealand citizen only as the visa process is much friendlier to these citizens.
