Compiling, reviewing and maintaining all policies, Group policies and guidelines, and Compliance procedures. Assisting the Head of Compliance to develop and implement an effective Compliance framework which covers all key activities undertaken within the business. Review customer and partner documentation including pre-contract information, customer agreements, post contractual documentation, customer letters, ??? Assist with the delivery of the annual compliance plan, contributing to reporting of performance against the plan. Implementation and continuous development of written Corporate Rules and knowledge within the group of institutions according to legal requirements. Providing regular updates to the Head of Compliance on compliance activities. Assisting with the investigation of breaches, suspicious activities and remediation exercises as required. Act as the Company compliance resource in all project and product development activities. Including steering of projects/developments from inception to conclusion in a complaint manner. Work experience, Leadership experience The role holder must have relevant work experience (minimum 3 years) within a compliance role or in a financial services organisation. Additional skills: special skills / technical ability etc. A good understanding of the regulatory requirements impacting on the business. Effective stakeholder engagement, interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong verbal/written communication and report writing skills. Ability to build close working relationships across the business. Ability to identify core issues from a broad range of sources and recommend fit for purpose solutions. Ability to work on own initiative to identify opportunities to enhance the reputation of Compliance Team Must be confident in delivering messages and training to Senior Management, as well as challenging individuals.
