IT Auditor (12 Month FTC)

My client is a global leader in the provision of financial services products. Due to a planned expansion, Jefferson Tiley are assisting them with the recruitment of an IT Auditor on a 12 month contract.



The team are based out of their North London offices, although everyone is currently working from home and there are no plans to return to the office in in the immediate months. Agile working was already in place with this client and working from home for a portion of the week will continue in a post covid world. All interviews will take place remotely.



Reporting to the Head of IT Audit and Projects for Europe, this role will provide the opportunity to combine technical, auditing and people skills to effectively advise and support the enterprise on risk related matters across the UK business.



Specific responsibilities will include:

• Delivering full end to end IT Audits in accordance with the business audit methodology and agreed timelines.
• Building and strengthening relationships with senior stakeholders as you work with the business to tighten IT risks and ensure robust controls are in place.
• Building and strengthening relationships with the business audit team as you deliver a cohesive audit approach across the business.
• Contribute to strategic audit initiatives within the UK in particular the strengthening of the Project Assurance capabilities and practices.

Qualifications and Competencies



Ideally applicants will be CISA qualified or be keen to study towards this. CISSP, CISM, CRISC or CIA are also helpful.

Previous Financial Services experience is advantageous but anyone with blue chip experience is invited to apply if they can demonstrate that they have the other required qualities and experience.



The role will be involved with the following and so any experience in any of the following is desirable:

• MSP, Prince 2, PMBOK, COBIT, ITIL, ISO, and NIST frameworks.
• IT Engineering & Operations and Security, and in-depth hands-on experience of delivering projects and programs in technical environments.
• Knowledge and experience with Agile and Dev/Ops methodologies, and cloud applications.
• Experience in using automation and data analytics tools including ACL, advanced Excel, Tableau, etc.

This is a small team and so this role will be hands on but also highly visible across the organisation and so would suit someone ambitious and keen to develop their career.
