This major multinational player is a successful leader in the B2B technology/telecoms infrastructure market. With a reputation as an innovator/pioneer and a strong focus on customer service the business has expanded internationally and now operates in 22 countries around the World. The business has always supported work-life balance and flexible working (even pre COVID).

The audit team of 10 is led from their London HQ and normally travels up to 20%, but are currently working remotely with no travel. However even pre-COVID, the business has always supported flexible working including 1-2 days per week working from home.

Reporting to The Head of Audit & Risk and as a key part of the Senior Management Team that works together and provides constructive challenge, you will lead the annual planning and delivery of the IT audit plan, partnering and advising senior IT stakeholders across the business. Working closely with the Head of Business Audit, you will have full HR responsibility for half of the team. The audit plan covers a wide range of IT audits covering cyber security, infrastructure/networks, cloud, RPA etc and ad-hoc special projects but maintains a degree of agility to meet changing business risks/needs. One of the more unusual benefits of the audit function is that because Colt is privately held, there is more scope to advise the business more generally on pragmatic best practice and remediation of issues as there isn’t as much of a regimented “wall” of 3rd line independence as some businesses.

The Head of Audit & Risk is seeking an experienced IT Audit leader with a wide experience of IT Audit including networks, databases and operating systems, cyber security, ITIL practices, data analytics, applications (including cloud solutions) rather than just ITGC, IT SOx, external audit support etc.

You are likely to have demonstrable career progression within the internal audit function of large multinational business, proven stakeholder management and relationship development skills, and able to work in a genuinely collaboratively way as part of the audit leadership team – providing both support and constructive challenge to your peers.

On offer is a salary of c£120-£130K plus bonus of 20% (that has actually paid out at 110% over the last 8 years), generous pension and flexi-bens. Please note that you MUST have eligibility to work within the UK without the need for any visa as sponsorship is not available.
