Head of Internal Audit

A fund management company in Central London are looking to bring Internal Audit in house. They currently use the Big 4 but are looking to cut back on their usage and hire a Head of Internal Audit to start the transition. They invest in sectors such as infrastructure, renewable energies and transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

• To in house Internal Audit - a mix of hands on audit work and business partnering
• To work closely with external and internal partners in the planning and the delivery of internal audit reporting
• Implement Internal Controls for the company and report into the General Counsel
• You will be required to build a team after the first 12 months
• You will need to be able to commit to 20% international travel

The successful candidate will have:

• An accounting qualification such as a ACA/ACCA/CPA/CA is a necessity
• Big 4 experience is a necessity
• Previous Internal Audit experience within the asset management space
• The ability to work autonomously and run projects to a high standard, whilst managing your time successfully
• Ability to work well under pressure, whilst producing results
• Ability to work well in part of a vibrant team and manage own workload
• Experience in report writing is essential
• Strong analytical skills are essential
