German speaking Internal Audit Consultant (3-6 month FTC) - £500/€550 per day

We have been selected to deliver a transformation project for the Risk and Internal Audit teams of an award-winning and globally recognisable commercial business, on an exclusive basis. As part of this work, we are looking for a German (and English) speaking Interim Internal Audit Consultant to join on a 3-6 month fixed term contract (FTC).

Based in anywhere in Europe (including the UK), and working from home during the pandemic, reporting to the Head of Audit, who in turn reports to the Global Head of Audit and Risk, and interacts daily with the Group CFO, the primary part of this role is help deliver the annual audit plan (financial, operational, controls-based audits, investigations, etc.). 

Given the need for you to hit the ground running, we are looking for a person to act as a 'safe pair of hands', with experience in internal audit, who has the ability to work in teams as well as on individual projects, is a team player and willing to contribute to the development of the function during their tenure. You will need to be a self-starter who can manage your own time and proactively seek and execute activities that will add value to the IA function.  
 
This would be an ideal role for an audit/advisory professional who is an experienced contractor or someone who is between jobs for any reason eg. redundancy, etc. who is looking for a new challenge in an established yet growing and expanding team within a market leading company.
