Senior IT Auditor - majority remote working role

A large and complex organisation is seeking a Senior IT Auditor as part of the expansion of the IT audit function.  There is a real appetite from the business to strength it’s risk management and wider corporate governance approach so it’s an exciting time to be joining.

The role will largely be remote working with only the occasional requirement to be in the Birmingham office, as such, those from across UK locations are encouraged to apply.

The position will report into the IT Audit Manager with dotted line to the Head of IT Audit.  You will have full responsibilities of audits from planning through to execution and reporting stages.  The nature of these audits will be broad and cover, but not be limited to, cloud technologies, projects and programmes, networks, and cyber.  As well as your technical capabilities, will have plenty of opportunity to demonstrate your communication and stakeholder management skills as you will have regular engagement up to the executive level.

The team itself is supportive and collaborative and you will play a role coaching a more junior member.  Longer term, there is scope for you to progress within the audit function or into the business.

To be considered, you must have a CISA qualification and previous end to end IT auditing experience that includes COBIT.  Any sector background will suffice.
