Internal Audit Manager

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) are recruiting an Internal Audit Manager for an international Energy business headquartered in central London.

A key requirement for this role is strong SAP analytics experience. Energy sector experience is not a key requirement, although helpful of course.

Please note: this is a hands-on delivery role, not a traditional manager of people role. That said, the team is likely to grow so this will be under review and has the potential to change accordingly.

The business is privately owned and growing, both organically and through acquisition. They have aspirations to IPO in the coming years. They are an energy business focussed on adapting and driving change in relation to society’s changing energy needs. The IA team was established in 2019 with the appointment of an experienced Director, he is now ready to build out his team with the initial appointment of an IA Manager.

Besides the SAP element, I am looking for an experienced IA professional with the below profile:

• Strong financial controls experience and accounting knowledge
• Excellent stakeholder management skills i.e. the ability to articulate and impact senior people, and competently deal with CFO, Head of Internal Control, Group FC etc.
• Dynamic, adaptable and open-minded with enthusiasm to be part of a unique effort to establish the function in a growing company

This business operates throughout Europe, AsiaPac and Africa, their HQ sits in central London. You will be required to travel to sites, with travel estimated at 30% in due course.

The base salary on offer is between £65,000 - £75,000 plus benefits.
