Senior Internal Auditor - Financial Services

My client are an international financial services corporation with operations scattered across the globe. Due to an internal promotion we are seeking to appoint a Senior Internal Auditor to join their Surrey based operation.

Reporting into an Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for delivering end to end internal audits across the business in a mixture of both financial and operational internal audit.

SOX experience would be helpful as whilst the SOX element of the role is less than 15%, previous knowledge of this would be considered advantageous.

The successful candidate is likely to be a qualified accountant with previous experience in financial services. There will be significant stakeholder interaction within the role and so previous knowledge in understanding how a financial services organisation operates as well as working in a regulated environment will be essential in order to gain early credibility in the role.

It is likely that the successful candidate will be working for a Top 10 firm and be ready to make their first move into industry.
