As an organisation we - the SRA - have committed to how we approach Quality Assurance (QA) and in order to meet this commitment, a new, centralised QA team is being established.

The purpose of this new QA team will be to provide internal and external assurance that processes, decision making and outcomes are meeting expectations in terms of providing effective regulation.

 

The role:

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will own, drive and optimise quality assurance in a consistent way across the organisation, providing confidence to our key stakeholders in our regulatory activities.

You will be accountable for conducting case level reviews, analysing results, and providing feedback to the organisation on identified trends and themes, ensuring delivery of the SRA's overall strategic objectives. You will work as a part of a team setting up a Quality Management System that is designed to improve consistency and efficiency.

What we're looking for:

While you don't necessarily need to be legally qualified, you must have a background in and significant practical understanding of, Quality Assurance in a highly regulated setting. You will have practical experience of complex case analysis, and a track record of taking accountability for successfully resolving very complex issues. You will understand the principle of equality and diversity, and their application in public policy. Additionally, you will be proactive, highly organised, and responsible for developing collaborative working relationships with peers across the business.

We welcome applicants who may be looking to achieve a balance between their personal and professional life. We are happy to talk flexible working and can support a minimum of a four-day working week for this role.

The successful candidate will be working from home till at least the late spring/early summer. Longer term, this role will be expected to be based out of our offices at the Cube in Birmingham city centre some days of the week, and from home the rest of the week.
