If you are an individual who has in depth knowledge of IFRS in the banking sector and would like to play a key role in financial reporting training, conduct technical reviews and build close working relationships with stakeholders then this role could be the right move for you! 

Knowledge and experience of accounting for financial instruments under IFRSs (especially IFRS 9) and FRS 102 is essential.

About the organisation: 

Our client is looking for someone who is excited to work within the Technical Standards Group as a Financial Reporting Senior Advisory Manager. Our client needs someone who is a pro-active team player, who can work well under pressure and have in-depth knowledge of IFRS within the banking sector with working knowledge of UK IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting is also essential. 

Working knowledge of firm services, issues regarding advice and regulation and compliance, including anti-money laundering is desirable. As well as, having experience auditing international groups. 

Good working knowledge of IFRSs, UK GAAP (FRSs 101 and 102) and the Companies Act with the ability to apply that knowledge to complex financial reporting issues and provide practical and supportable solutions. 

Knowledge and experience of accounting for financial instruments under IFRSs (especially IFRS 9) and FRS 102. 

Practical experience of the review of all aspects (ie front and back end) of the annual report of private and publicly traded companies, particularly from the financial services (Banking) sector. 
Travel is up to 30% within London.
