SQL Data Analyst - Teradata, IT Security, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk

ADARMA are looking to engage a contract SQL Data Analyst with experience of Teradata to work with one of our banking clients on a remote basis. Working in a security focussed role within our client's Insider Risk Team, this role will work closely with technical teams to create complex, bespoke alerts whilst examining data loss trends.

Developing a knowledge of our client's security posture, standards and processes as well as their data clarification criteria and DLP policies, you will design, code and test using SQL and manipulate multiple data feeds as well as write documentation for these alerts.

This role is fully remote for now but there will eventually be some travel to London, Edinburgh or Leeds.

Please note that the successful applicant would be expected to engage via an FCSA accredited umbrella company for the duration of this contract.

Requirements

• Ability to script in SQL and manipulate numerous data feeds
• Experience with Teradata
• Proven experience of working within technical design teams
• Proven experience of working within cyber security (desirable)
• Knowledge of DLP/data loss prevention processes and policies (desirable)
• Experience working in insider risk teams
• Ideally, knowledge of other cyber security frameworks and standards (eg PCI, DPA, etc)
