Senior Internal Audit Manager

Your Role:

• Manage the Internal Audit process for the company's EMEA and APAC regions in addition to other global audits under the direction of the Regional Audit Director.

Ensure the following:

• Regional business unit's systems of internal controls and accounting procedures are adequate to provide accurate financial reporting and to safeguard corporate assets.
• Corporate and regional policies are being followed.
• Cost saving and business opportunities are identified to regional management.
• Risk based Audit approach is devised in conjunction with in-charge (Lead Audit Senior) to adequately address all significant business and audit risks.
• Business risks are promptly and accurately identified to APAC/EMEA Regional Management.
• All Audit work is thorough, complete and has been performed in accordance with IIA standards and the company's Internal Audit standards.
• Audit results are effectively communicated to regional senior management and external auditors.
• Lead Auditors a properly planning and monitoring the internal audit process, providing feedback to team members and adhering to the company's Internal Audit standards.#
• Develop and maintain viable working relationships with regional senior management.
• Keep abreast of regional business issues which impact the nature or timing of proposed audit work.
• Supervise and coach all team members on assignment tasks so they can maximize their potential. This includes preparing and discussing written performance evaluations of supervisors for assigned audits and projects, career counselling and placement through established business contacts and approving all staff evaluations.
• Provide input on regional risk factors and other issues to assist in continuous risk assessment of the region.

Who are we looking for?

Minimum qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or business administration.
• Professional internal audit or accounting qualification (CIA, CISA, CPA, CA, etc).
• Minimum of 10 years professional experience which can include some years of audit related experience within the Big4 and/or a large corporation's internal audit function. We also value experience within finance.
• Experience as a Manager and exposure to finance, process and operational audits.
• Knowledge of risk/control frameworks (COSO, COBIT).
• Sarbanes-Oxley experience required.
• US GAAP / IFRS experience required.
• Enterprise Risk Management experience preferred.
• SAP knowledge.
• Knowledge of CAATs (ACL) preferred.
• FMCG/Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% internationally.
