Job Details
Our client is a well-known European Investment Bank with operations across the EU, UK and Asia. Following an expansion of their German entity, the company is looking to increase the Frankfurt based Audit team with hires in business and IT audit at the Associate Director level.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the ongoing execution of the firms audit plan
- Lead the full life-cycle of business audits from planning through to the reporting of appropriate actions to any issues or gaps found
- Engage and lead the supervision and delegation of work by members of the audit team and any additional external resources
- Assist with the ongoing review and forward scheduling of the entities audit plan
- Assist with the production of reports and MI for the local and group level audit committees
- Assist and/or lead in ad-hoc audits or special investigations when required
Experience required:
- Significant experience of working as an internal audit within an trading environment
- Knowledge of investment banking products including capital markets trading, M&A and lending products is required
- Proven working knowledge of German financial regulations is required
- Fluent German and English language skills are needed
