Senior IT Auditor

Fox Global Partners is working with an iconic Australian organisation to recruit for an IT Auditor to join their team. The role will be based in Perth, Western Australia and will report into the IT Audit Manager. Due to Covid restrictions, there would be very little international travel planned for the future audit plan.

The Company.

Our client is a well known Australian organisation. They have been operating for over 50 years and have grown into one of the most trusted organisations in Australia. Due to regional acquisitions, they have continued with their aggressive growth plans and are continuing to push into further international markets. They currently have revenues of over $1Billion and are planning to grow further still in the short term. Their leadership team is very stable and their Corporate Governance team is highly respected within the business.

The role

The IT Audit role is based within their head office in the Perth CBD. The role reports into the Head of internal audit and will work alongside an experienced internal and IT Audit Team. The main duty within the role is to evaluate the overall effectiveness of their IT internal controls. You will determine the risk exposure and develop remediation strategies. You will also lead interviews with internal stakeholders to understand and document IT related process flows, risks and controls. You will also assist in streamlining audit process and help to coordinate requests to the business.

About you

The ideal IT Auditor will have a strong academic background and ideally hold a degree in IT or a closely related field. You would ideally have been trained within a Big Four or top tier accountancy practice, however we are open to candidates who have gained IT Audit and Risk experience within commerce. IT Audit, audit or accountancy qualifications would be highly advantageous and we are open to CISA, CISM, CIA, CA and PIIA.
