The Role

The Governance department is responsible for ensuring all services and products are managed effectively by the respective business teams through the deployment of sound working practice (e.g. defined processes and procedures).

The role of Governance Officer is to assist the Governance Manager in providing support to the first line of defence. The role will be primarily responsible for managing the outsourcing relationships between CISIL and their outsourcing partners.

The individual must be self-motivated and eager to learn. The role requires an individual who is focussed, with a proven ability to deliver solutions and maintain high standards of quality at all times.  This role will involve supporting the senior management and operational teams and will require a high level of self-motivation and ability to liaise with people at all levels.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as CISIL’s point of contact between CISIL and relevant outsourcing partners
  • Manage outsourcing service quality review meetings on a monthly/Quarterly basis (including agreeing and finalising Service Quality Reports after each meeting)
  • Ensure 6 monthly outsourcing review meetings take place by liaising with outsourcing partners
  • Ensure the outsourcing agreements are reviewed and kept up to date
  • Monitor outsourcing KPIs
  • Oversee the CISIL Outsourcing & Governance Forum
  • Prepare Board papers for quarterly Risk Committee and attend these meetings as required
  • Maintain the CISIL Outsourcing SharePoint site 

Also, you will assist the Governance manager with other governance tasks as required, which may include but is not limited to:

  • Management of Axiom system to ensure CAR compliance
  • Supporting day to day CAR compliance (Daily Rec’s, Weekly Breaks monitoring, Breaches)
  • Assisting with the Client Asset Exam
  • Supporting preparation and coordination of papers for the Outsourcing and Governance Forum, Client Asset Forum, Conduct Forum and Board Reporting

 

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • PC literate – an intermediate level of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Existing knowledge of Computershare products & service an advantage
  • A flexible approach to working patterns
  • Good organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • High level of Motivation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Accountancy qualified is preferable although not essential.
