An exciting opportunity to join a leading Manufacturing Multinational in Budapest, Hungary! A rare position has arisen in the Internal Audit team in Hungary for a Senior Internal Auditor. The Senior Internal Auditor will have the opportunity to elevate his career with a well-rounded audit experience. The role will be responsible for identifying gaps/opportunities/key risks. Well-rounded Internal Audit opportunity with huge exposure to different areas of the business.
Some of the responsibilities of the role include:
- Perform audit procedures - operational, financial, investigations, SOX, GDPR...
- Support the IA Director with scoping, planning, conducting/leading these audits
- Provide written reports and presentations to the management
- Identify risks and provide key input to the development of the Audit Plan.
- Provides training and coaching, and guidance to the Internal audit staff in conducting audits
- Use of data analytics in audits
- Participate in recommendations to the management on business process & internal control improvements
Requirements for the role:
- Experience in auditing, accounting or internal controls
- ACCA, ACA part qualified or fully qualified
- SOX testing experience
- 3 - 7 years of experience with one of the Big 10 accountancy firms
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Able to travel 30% of the time in Europe and internationally
