A leading global investment bank is looking to take on an Senior IT Auditor in Frankfurt

Your key tasks and responsibilities as an Senior IT Auditor include delivering on Internal Audit activity within Technology, Information Security, IT Security, Corporate Real Estate Services and any other allocated functional area. You will also participate in and execute ongoing risk assessments and business monitoring activities as required, and to deliver IT audits of strategic impact from planning through execution reporting. As well as assisting the Internal Audit Management in maintaining the function's risk and control themes register and managing the overall internal audit planning and audit resource allocation process.

In addition to this, you will be expected to;
  • To conduct tracking and associated evidencing of issues raised to ensure implementation of recommendations has a real and positive impact on the control environment
  • To conduct special investigative work as necessary where mandated by Executive
  • To assist with the maintenance of the audit action plan tracking database and coordinate the monthly audit action plan updates with auditors and produce the relevant reporting required by various governance forums and control functions

Skills and requirements:
  • Solid experience in IT Audit, technology or internal control areas within the financial industry
  • Good understanding of the financial market, of operational aspects and process flows in financial markets as well as local regulatory requirements
  • Good and practical understanding of Operational Resilience and Cyber Security
  • Good understanding of fundamental principles of information technologies (business
  • applications, technology platforms, operating systems, DBMS and networks) controls
  • Good understanding of IT management control processes (Security Management, Change
  • Management, Incident Management, Software Development Control etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills, able to quickly understand complex processes, identify risks and
  • inadequacies in operational processes, procedures, as well as propose practical and
  • sustainable solutions
  • Excellent command of German and English languages
