Job Details
Our client is a well-known European Asset Manager and Private Bank. In Luxembourg, the firm offers investment management products to institutional, intermediary and retail clients and Lux domiciled funds are distributed globally. Joining the global audit team, our client is looking to hire a Senior Auditor to be based in the Luxembourg office and be responsible for assisting the delivery of the audit plan in Luxembourg and across the EU branches.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of the annual audit plan in Luxembourg and across the EU branches
- Work with the local and group level audit team in revising and updating the audit plan and policies
- Carry out special investigations when required
- Ensure audit action points are managed
- Provide audit reports to the local and regional board and committee level
Experience required:
- Prior experience of general business auditing gained with a financial institution is essential
- Audit professional qualifications are advantageous
- Knowledge of Luxembourgish financial regulation is preferred, knowledge of UCITs and AIF funds would be highly advantageous
- Fluent English language skills are essential; French, German or Italian language skills are preferred
