Assist in the development and the execution of Internal Audit Plan and Integral Assignments
Client Details Our client is one of the world's leading transportation companies. The Group operates nearly 800 major ocean vessels, as well as fleets of planes and trucks. Their revenue in fiscal year 2017 exceeded over $20 billion, and as a group they employ about 37,000 people worldwide. They are based in Tokyo and have regional headquarters in London, New York/New Jersey, Singapore, and Shanghai.
Description
* Undertake Audit Fieldwork across European (and specific African) locations either as part of a team or on a sole auditor basis. This includes an Opening Meeting and Presentation highlighting the Purpose, Objectives and Approach of the Audit plus a Closing Meeting and Presentation with the Audit Observations (Findings), Risks and Recommendations.
* Compile draft Internal Audit Reports relating to audit engagements in which the Internal Auditor participated for finalisation by the General Manager of NGE Internal Audit.
* Perform "Quarterly Internal Audit Follow-Up" reviews of the Audit Actions to ensure management's adherence to their commitment and timetable. * Support the preparation and presentation of the "Internal Audit Presentation Pack" including Performance Data to the Internal Audit Follow-up Committee(s) held quarterly.
Profile
Educated to degree level or equivalent;
* Professional part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, PIIA, IIA IT Certificate, CISA or equivalent) or a minimum of 3 years-experience in Internal Audit;
* Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and commercial judgement;
* Able to travel internationally (mainly within Europe), around 30% of the time away from home

- Salary: £52,000-60,000
