Cyber Security Analyst - Web Application Security. Based just outside Chester, Cheshire my client has a new requirement for an Cyber Security Analyst with the option of WFH for 3 days after the initial settling in period has commenced. I am looking for someone with 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role with the following skills:
* Web Application Security - Understanding of common vulnerabilities, how to identify them, how to rectify them & how to avoid them.
* Security features in MS 365.
* Security experience in software & platforms.
* General understanding of Firewalls & Web Application Firewalls.
Role involves:
* Take responsibility for existing information security processes such as regular audits of key security components, vulnerability scanning & management, dealing with alerts from the SOC, assisting with training & awareness programmes.
* Being involved in new IT & business projects is also a crucial part of this role.
* You will be passionate about ensuring information security is considered & addressed early on in any development work.
* Continuously look for weaknesses & improvement opportunities in security landscape & be happy to drive these improvements.
* Be able to effectively communicate highly technical concepts.
Any skills or experience in the following is a massive bonus: SQL Server, Azure SQL Advanced Data Security, GDPR & Powershell.
